Jenna was my nurse when I first came to the floor after having a surgical procedure performed. My being admitted to the hospital was not planned, but the recovery room nurses were unable to get my pain under control. The pain was so bad I was crying for hours in the recovery room. They were going to discharge me home with no medication to help with the pain and or spasms until my pharmacy opened, which was 9 am and about 4-6 hours from when I would have taken my last medications before leaving, which was still not under control.

I called the number to the urology office that was on the discharge papers the nurses wanted me to sign, and the urologist on call finally called the PACU nurses about 2 hours later, and he had me admitted to the hospital. Jenna was able to get my pain under control and at a manageable rating. I was crying when I first got to 1 North, and Jenna was quickly able to get my pain under control with the extraordinary care she provided for me as soon as I arrived at my room. Jenna completed her assessment of me and was able to provide me with extraordinary care. She was very compassionate, kind, professional, and prompt in answering any questions I had and any care that I needed. She made me and my fiancé very comfortable, especially after what we had gone through in the PACU. Jenna was very knowledgeable and quick to restart my IV, which was working great even though my pain wasn't under control. Jenna is an awesome and receptive nurse who promptly cared for and controlled my pain, spasms, etc. Thank you, Jenna Robinson, for your extraordinary care and compassion!
