Jenna is a great nurse! I came in to the ER three days post tonsillectomy; dehydrated and nauseated. I was trying so hard not to throw up. I was in that miserable space between headache, puking, and dry heaves. Jenna got my IV in one try, (not easy to do). She explained every step and took time to hear my responses. Even though I forgot my post op prescription at home, and the doctor refused to treat my pain, Jena brought me a warm compress for my head, a barf bag, and a wash cloth to wipe my mouth. She did everything she could to make me comfortable. She made a point to say, hospital policy requires that we keep you for 20 minutes after administration of meds, to ensure you don't have a complication. Even though I was in pain; I left the hospital feeling less nauseated, with no more dry heaves. The anti-nausea meds helped me get some rest. Thank you, Jenna for your kindness and compassion. I hate being sick like that, but it's nice to know you really care for your patients.
