September 2021 Honoree
Jenna Wade, RN
Her shift started on Monday night and at about 8:00 pm she came into my wife’s room and informed us that the release paperwork for transport to the rehabilitation center was not completed. There was also no information that indicated how my wife would be transported. My wife was originally scheduled to be released the day prior. I agreed to transport my wife to the rehabilitation center. The bed was not ready, so the release was delayed. She took it upon herself to do what was needed to fix the problem herself. At about 10:00 pm she got the release papers completed. Really went above and beyond!
Thank you, Jenna, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
