Jenna did an amazing job post op following my spinal fusion surgery. Not only was she there when I was waking up, but she also made sure I was positioned in a way of comfort. She was on top of my pain meds from the very beginning. She continued to stay on top of my care and pain meds to make sure I remained comfortable. She was very thoughtful and considerate when she was transferring me to the main floor after surgery.

Once I was moved to the floor before leaving, she went over the use of my incentive spirometer, got my sleep apnea machine set up, and arranged my call button and pain button for easy access. Where I believe she really went above and beyond was before leaving; after her shift, she returned to check on me and noticed blood in my urine catheter and alerted the floor nurses.

She did an exceptional job of being professional, along with showing compassion and great care for my needs. She is an exceptional nurse and needs to be recognized for her efforts.
