Jen is a wonderful member of the West 9 staff. She is a preceptor, relief charge nurse and all around friendly and helpful coworker. Families have said, "Jen's warm and friendly personality made our stay much more comfortable. She goes above and beyond to check on our child, keep us parents informed and providing gentle, kind and compassionate care."
Jen is viewed as a resource and has helped precept new nurses. She does an excellent job precepting because she is patient, thorough and able to teach about the unit's population in an easy to understand way. She's a role model because she provides excellent care that focuses on the needs and best interests of her patients.
Jen is a consistent relief charge nurse and is well respected in that role as someone who makes logical decisions about staffing while helping to support her coworkers. She is always approachable and ready to help answer questions or deal with difficult situations. She is recognized as someone who is extremely dedicated and a great team player.
