Jenni Strait exemplifies the very best of Marquette’s College of Nursing faculty through her exceptional performance, innovative mindset, strong leadership, and meaningful professional contributions. Jenni Strait is an exemplar educator whose commitment to student success is evident in every aspect of her work. She creates a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel challenged, encouraged, and valued. Her teaching is thoughtful, engaging, and grounded in a genuine desire to see every student succeed. Jenni consistently goes above and beyond expectations, offering her time, mentorship, and encouragement to ensure students not only meet but exceed learning outcomes. Jennie’s dedication to innovation is especially evident in her leadership of competency-based education initiatives.
Through creative approaches and a willingness to continuously refine her teaching, Jenni ensures that course content remains relevant, accessible, and impactful. She is always both teaching and learning, seeking new strategies, incorporating feedback, and adapting to meet the evolving needs of students and the profession. She has served as a leader in the Undergraduate Program Curriculum Committee within the College of Nursing at Marquette as well as the University Board of Graduate Studies (UBUS). Jenni is a tremendous colleague and a trusted, supportive presence within the faculty. She leads by example, demonstrating professionalism, collaboration, and integrity in all she does. She freely shares her expertise, supports peers, and contributes meaningfully to program improvement efforts.
