I was in the ER about 3 weeks ago for withdrawal symptoms and Jennifer was my nurse. I was pretty out of it. I showed up back in the ER later and Jennifer was my nurse again. She sat with me for a while, talked about my addiction and she just genuinely cared for me. She didn’t have to do that but went out of her way to do so anyway. Talking with her really took a lot off my mind and showed me that there are people that can be compassionate even if they are strangers. Anyway I just wanted to say thank you for making me feel a little more normal.
