A day I will never forget 2/27/24. Jennifer and her staff went above and beyond their line of duty that day. Jennifer held her composure and told her staff what was needed and kept them all calm. She held the baby for hours and never left the child’s side. She went above and beyond for this baby. She truly was calm and never once guessed herself or her ability to save this child’s life. When she felt like she had nothing left to offer the child, she prayed over him. She did everything humanly possible to help save this baby. She said a prayer again once the child was in the helicopter. Our office is not meant for emergencies like these, but she handled herself very well. She was 100% professional the whole time. This day isn’t the only reason that makes her a wonderful nurse. She goes above her line of duty every single day. If there is anyone out there who deserves this award, it would be her. I have never met a more caring nurse than her. She is just such a kind and caring person. Jennifer takes care of all her patients with so much grace and compassion for each of them. She buys toys and prizes for kids that are scared or have to have a shot. She makes sure that there is a smile on every child’s face when they come through the door. She helps anyone who needs it. She cares for each child as if they were her own. Nursing is 100% her calling.
