Jen was nominated by a patient who had miscarried her first pregnancy. The patient states "learning that our February due date was now a memory, no longer something to look forward to was very difficult. Part of me felt incredibly selfish to have spent the hours in the hospital (I was only minutes before terrified of) in such high spirits, but I am thankful that my frown was turned upside down. Although it was not an exciting experience, you made it a positive one. That is something very special, and something I will credit to your selflessness, for which I am sincerely grateful. Thank you so much, you are more than just a great nurse!"
