Jennifer Belly, BSN, RN

Just when I thought Health care was a thing of the past, I met Jennifer Belly. Jennifer has been both of my parents' home health nurse for several years. I knew it was more than a job to her the moment she came bounding and smiling into my parents’ home. Her energy and kind spirit are enough to lift anyone's spirits. Jennifer has recently taken my Mom’s care to the next level, all on her own! She is in constant contact with me and, more importantly, with Mom’s Primary Care Doctor. She speaks directly to him and sends him all important updates and photos of Mom’s leg wound.

Last week, I sent her another photo and asked her to forward it to Mom's doctor for him to review. Without hesitation, Jennifer took it upon herself to get the doctor to authorize a home visit and went to see my Mother within 45 minutes! Who does that these days? A woman who truly cares about her patients—that’s who. Jennifer was late getting back home to her kids' bus stop that day. But that still did not stop her. We feel blessed to have Jennifer. We need more like Jen in the world.
