Jen took care of my husband recently during his visit to the ER for a heart attack. She was so calm and sweet and yet very efficient and focused. Not only did she take excellent care of him, but she also took care of me. I was very emotional and scared. After she took him to the Cath Lab, she came out to talk with me. I was alone and terrified and crying. She kneeled down, told me what was about to happen, and reassured me that they were going to take care of him. She gave me a big hug. I want her to know how much that meant to me. I immediately felt better and I felt that she really cared. She is very special.
I am an RN and I am always observant in any clinic setting, as a patient or as a family member. I felt such assurance throughout his hospital stay. From the time we entered the ER, we were greeted by staff quickly and rushed back. The security guard was even very sensitive and efficient. The pharmacist, the nurse case manager, the cath lab nurse, and the ICU nurses were all wonderful. The case manager even provided a note for our daughter for missing classes. The atmosphere of this hospital was great all around. This was our first experience with Longmont United and we were very impressed.
