Jennifer Breen, RN

I came to the hospital for a blockage and needed surgery. I have been here a week and in that time Nurse Jen has gone above and beyond the call of duty. In that time she has shown such compassion for me. She sat and talked with me, rubbed my back, talked with me about my depression and my husband's illness. You don't find someone who takes the extra time with patients today. She made me feel like everything was going to be ok.

My procedure was a hernia. Jennifer assisted with the prep, she was personable, helpful and calming. During my procedure, they discovered I did not have a hernia, I had a mass. Upon waking up and learning of this new revelation it was quite upsetting. Jennifer was waiting for me in recovery, she took my hand, she was calming, she was kind, she gave me information, and helped me gain composure. I am sure she had a load of patients, but you would not have known that, she was compassionate and caring. She exemplified nursing. I remain truly grateful.
