Hi Jennifer, I wanted to thank you very much for the calmness you provided for our whole family when my stubborn brother was in your care. It’s a tough situation with everyone not being on the same page and the patient, my brother, not wanting to admit it is his end of life. I have been to many of our HCA hospitals and have never experienced the wonderful calm friendly culture that was given by everyone that works there.

You are definitely over the top with your kindness and compassion, and that makes such a difference to families, I just wanted you and your manager to know how much you were appreciated during the week I was at Weatherford with my brother.

Interestingly enough, he ate a cheeseburger yesterday by mouth, I have been told by his daughter, and he is going for his chemo treatment next week. I’ve never seen anyone at the end of life be given three choices and then pick his own # 4 that he isn’t dying and going home….. praying he doesn’t suffer too much, but that is up to him.

Thanks again, Jennifer. How you worked with the first-day students and showed them the ropes was also very impressive.
