Jennifer was nominated by a family whose child was very ill. Jennifer never turned down their questions; instead, she pursued answers and didn't stop until she had one for the family. Jennifer celebrated every single effort the patient was making. She used positive language and encouraged the parents to ask questions so they didn't just sit there wondering. Jennifer ensured labs were drawn on time and followed up with the lab once the tests were performed. She went the extra mile to ease anxious parents.
The family wrote in their letter that they feel Jennifer made the difference in the child's outcome. She was there and never let the family or the patient down.
