I was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday August 9th 2023. I was admitted and was on 7 West. I was very scared and nervous. All of my nurses on 7 West were amazing. One amazing nurse that took care of me was Jen. From the minute she began taking care of me, until the end of her shift, she was kind and so reassuring. She explained things to me about my condition. She was warm and so compassionate. They were having a difficult time getting my blood pressure to come down as well as my heart rate. She was so comforting and caring, assuring me that it was going to be ok. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me. She explained exactly what AFib is and talked to me like a friend. I could go on and on because there are so many things to say about this amazing nurse. She was definitely put on this earth to help people. The three days I was there, I definitely received the best care in large part because of Jen. When she ended her shift, I told her I will never forget her and thanked her for her amazing care! She definitely is EXTRAORDINARY!
