Her competency, compassion, and extraordinary level of care will not be forgotten by our family.
Our mother was admitted for in-hospital therapy and remained there until she had a procedure. Within a day of mother being admitted to KMC, the CDC mandated no visitors for hospitalized patients with the exception of childbirth and end-of- life. This meant for two solid weeks our family relied on nurses, therapists, nurse’s aides, etc. to take care of our precious mother during this volatile and uncertain time.

Needless to say, my father, sister and I called quite regularly to check on out mother’s status. Most of the employees we spoke to provided answers to our questions, however Jennifer was an exception. She was considerate and caring and spoke with such sincerity in her voice that it reassured our family that our mother was being provided stupendous care during this unique and challenging situation and historical time in our country.

Jennifer was always thorough and made certain our questions and concerns were addressed with therapists and doctors in our absence. She was very complimentary of our mom and made us feel beyond a doubt that she was being taken care of. Each evening we would conference call and Jennifer would transfer our call to our mother’s room then went into her room to make sure we were able to talk with our mother. Sometimes Mom was not able to hang the phone up and we could hear the nurse talking to her. It was obvious she was taking care of our mother the way she would take care of her own mother. Her competency, compassion, and extraordinary level of care will not be forgotten by our family.

Jennifer , we do not know how we would have made it through two weeks of isolation from our mother without you. We cannot thank you enough for taking care of our mother when we could not be there.
