I was in an accident at my home in the past and have had multiple life-threatening problems and have spent several months at a time as an inpatient in various hospitals. Due to my frequent exposure to nursing services, I feel that I am qualified to recognize the qualities of an excellent nurse. Jennifer Dixon fits that description perfectly.
I have utilized the infusion suite at Whitesburg ARH for outpatient services several times due to my diagnosis of cellulitis. Jennifer is constantly doing everything she can to make her patients comfortable, relaxed and is aware of their progress while getting their infusion. No matter if she has patients in every chair, she attends to each one in the same way. She goes above and beyond asking, "Are you hungry? Do you need a snack? Are you thirsty? Are you warm enough? Would you like a blanket?"
Jennifer is a capable nurse, ambitious, reliable, dedicated to her patients, attentive and caring. I especially appreciate her cheerful personality. She understands that patients need to feel comfortable during the infusion process and she works very diligently to alleviate the pain and discomfort that can be associated with the process.
I feel that Jennifer is a great asset to the Whitesburg ARH Hospital staff and to the physicians that she works with daily.
