We had our son at 24 weeks gestational age. Throughout our journey in the NICU Jennifer Carino was extremely supportive and loving to our son. She would put her full effort into his care. We enjoyed how she would talk him through every part of his care. For example, Jen would tell our son “is it okay if I bathe you today” “I have to change your diaper now” or “we will have a good night together”. Our son needed heart surgery a month into his NICU stay. My wife was so sad and scared. Jen took the time to sit with my wife and son. She cried with my wife and gave her a glass of water. When we leave at night we know that he is in the best hands possible. Jen is a professional who loves what she does and approaches each patient with all her devotion. Jen is the embodiment of great nursing.
