Jennifer Eckhardt is one of the most caring, honest, and hard-working nurses I have ever met. Four years ago, when I started as a new grad, I remember the wave of comfort she would always give me as a leader. Her ability to lead and control situations under pressure gave me something to strive for as a new nurse. She was patient, caring, and attentive to any questions or concerns I might have had. She helped guide me through the beginning of my career as an L&D nurse and as a charge nurse.
Fast-forward three years. She is one of our nurse leaders on the maternity unit and continues to lead by example. She challenges us as nurses to think outside the box and works hard to make sure everyone is taken care of during the shift. Jen is always there when someone needs help in a stressful/urgent situation. Her quick ability to problem-solve helps us make the best decisions for our patients.
Jen is both an amazing care provider to her patients and an incredible nurse leader, striving for high-level service to her patients and staff. Jen is a true example of an extraordinary nurse, and our team wouldn’t be the same without her.
