Jen was my RN. She was very sweet and understanding. When I came here, I was a recovering addict. I was sober from meth (needle). I knew I had to quit meth because surgery was more important. When Jen saw me when I hit the call button, I was in tears. I didn't want to leave one addiction for another. Jen was the only person who never judged me and understood me. I didn't want her to go because for the first time she really helped me through a rough time with my sobriety. Jen, I will always remember you said, "You can do this, but you have to use good judgment when it comes to pain. Compare the difference." That is what I did. She helped me to understand pain pills, Tylenol, and Tramadol. Now I'm safe because of the knowledge she has given me! I now know I can help my pain and still be sober and addiction safe.
