You can tell she loves what she does and gives it her all!
Jennifer went over and above during the 4 days my 18-month-old and I were in the hospital for RSV. When we met her on our first full day there, she had an amazing bedside manner, answered all questions I had, and set us up to get better faster. I told her we don't do much technology in our house, so she brought in age-appropriate toys. She sat and talked with me, she played with my kiddo, she was sensitive to his moods during stat checks and did everything she could to make him more comfortable, and help me to stop freaking out too. While we were there, she would look into questions I had, she would commiserate with me when the night staff had increased my child's oxygen needs back up (when all we wanted to do was go home), she was there celebrating every success with us and documenting all the things to get us home sooner (every popsicle counts, every sip of liquid counts). She rejoiced with me when she saw my little guy excited about a meal (even though he ended up not being able to eat it because it was cut too small for him to feed himself). She was a true problem solver. Jennifer even put her neck out there so my little dude could bust out of his room for a bath (which he may not have loved, but was a huge turning point in his recovery). Jennifer F was amazing! You can tell she loves what she does and gives it her all! She was the light in a very stressful, anxiety-ridden, scary time for me and my boy.
