I nominate Jennifer from the seventh floor for the DAISY Award. Jennifer was so kind and compassionate to my dying 41 year old sister. She spoke gently to her, sat by her side and showed genuine concern for my sister's comfort, even when my sister stopped being alert and responsive. The ONLY thing that made my sister's deterioration, and eventual death, remotely manageable is the care that the nurses like Jennifer provided my sister. Jennifer also showed concern for my family's well-being. I am so glad we witnessed the amazing care so many of the nurses, like Jennifer, provided my sister. Thank you.
