My daughter was a patient in the Peds ICU. She was admitted due to a head injury. As her mother, I was at the hospital every day and as the days went on her condition only got worse. My daughter was 4 months old and those 5 days were and still are the hardest days of my life. Jennifer was there for me in any way she possibly could. Not only did she take care of my daughter beyond the best of her ability, but she also made sure to take care of me too. There were several times she held me while I cried and kissed and loved on my sweet girl every chance she had. My daughter did not leave the hospital with me as she passed away on the 5th day. That day she prayed over her and cried as we said our final goodbyes. Jennifer also attended my daughter's viewing the following week. As a mother, not being able to save her daughter, I know that Jennifer and all of the nurses in the PICU did all they could've done to keep her. I could never be more thankful for what they did for her and for myself in those final days of her life. I will never forget my daughter and I believe they will miss her and love her just as I do. The love and care Jennifer showed her and gave to her is something I will cherish and hold onto until it is again my time to join my sweet baby.
