I have yet to meet anyone who demonstrate the values on the nomination form more than this Nurse does. Today I will focus on her commitment. She recently volunteered to help with Atrium's virtual hospital. She had very little idea what it entailed, but she saw a need and she filled it. Jennifer never complained, never wavered, and always got the job done. This is how she approaches every patient encounter. When a patient has an issue, she does not pass it off to the next person. She figures it out herself.
We recently had a patient who was struggling with pain management and having a poor outcome with a pain management clinic. Jennifer figured out the issue and took it upon herself to find an alternative clinic (working with the PCP) for the patient. This led to a successful outcome and happy patient. This story is just one of the many for Jennifer. She goes above and beyond for her patients daily, to the point that she herself might not even realize it is above and beyond! To her, it is just another day doing her job and position.
