Jennifer is a very compassionate and caring nurse, always willing to lend a helping hand. On Friday, August 12, Jenny was looking for a parking space in the parking garage when she came upon an elderly couple. The husband had just fallen and the wife was trying to assist him when she also fell. Jennifer quickly got out of her car and took charge of the situation. Several other people stopped to help so she asked them to do specific things. She delegated tasks to the helpers and the couple was quickly assisted into wheelchairs and each taken to the ER where they were treated. This couple had been trying to get to the oncology doctor for the husband who had become so weak and was unable to eat or drink. The man was admitted to the 11th floor and his wife was admitted to the 7th floor. Without her assistance, they might not have received the care they needed as soon as they did. Jennifer truly exemplifies the heart and soul of nursing, both on and off duty!
