The first encounter my husband and I had with Jen, I remember her matching baby girls clothes with her blankets. This stood out because with my husband and I being so concerned about our brand new baby in the NICU. Here was this nurse with a cool, calm demeanor dressing baby. This signaled to us, "Hey, if we have the ability to dress her, like the other moms are doing who are not in NICU, things may not be so bad. It might become a little bit easier to relax. Only a little bit!"

Jen's sense of humor kicked the rest of that barrier down! Her humor combined with her patience and TLC were a godsend. If there was a night she was working, we were comfortable enough to go home and get peaceful rest. Thank you Auntie Jen!
