Jennifer Greene, RN

A patient was admitted to MST for comfort care. She was 48 years old and was dying from a brain tumor. It was a few weeks before Christmas and this patient had two young girls. Jennifer decided to have Christmas early for this family. She recruited the help of her co-workers, brought in a tree, decorated it, and filled it with gifts for the girls and family. It was a Saturday and they surprised the girls and celebrated the day. The patient passed away the next day. The patient's family returned to the hospital to express how important the day was and reported they would be forever grateful to Jennifer and the other staff for the special memory they created.
