My dad was admitted for chest pain. We had other issues due to his COPD, influenza A, and pneumonia diagnosis. He is also easily confused and can be angry and combative because of his many years of addiction. This nurse witnessed many of his angry outbursts over the two days she was our nurse. She always came in to check on him and me while he was upset. She was very kind and comforting in times of need. She also gave me great advice on how to help deal with him. It was the right words at the right time to provide me the comfort and strength I needed at that moment.
