I was admitted for Crohn's related problems. During my time the medication to treat and the pain that was being put in place became apparent that it was not working. I was informed that having my large intestine removed was looking like the only option. When the Doctor came to speak with me I had no family available for support. Jennifer stopped what she was doing, stayed for the meeting, assisted me with questions to ask and provided comfort and support. That may only be a small minute of her life, but it was a life changing moment for me.

I wasn't capable of asking a question at the time. I was ready for a nervous breakdown. And Jennifer asked all the questions for me that I wouldn't have even thought of asking. Every time a doctor came in, she came right in and held my hand. What may be nothing to you meant the world to me because I was not in a good frame of mind.
