Jennifer Hinkle does an excellent job of supporting our night teams when they need education timely and efficiently. Jenn also recognizes the importance of giving emotional support and encouragement! The Respiratory/Oncology team knows they can count on Jenn to dive into a difficult situation and help them to find the resources to support them when needed.

Recently we had a traumatic fall on night shift, when my team reported out to me in the morning, it was stated to me "Thank goodness Jenn was here and did a debrief and huddle with us, she is so supportive". This is just one of the numerous times my night team has expressed their appreciation of having Jennifer here to guide them and follow up with questions and concerns. Jennifer is a much-appreciated addition to our night team leadership.

As a Manager, I feel that our team is in good hands with Jennifer as a resource and leader for our night team. I sleep easier knowing Jennifer is here. Jennifer Hinkle is an absolutely amazing night-shift educator! Just last night there was a patient that coded on the unit, and she took the time to sit and do a debrief with staff. She kindly educated on areas of opportunity and provided feedback and encouragement! She has also done multiple code simulations with the night shift and provides in-the-moment feedback.

The night shift team on medical cardiology always feels supported and loved by Jenn! Jenn is always there when the staff need her and is quick to respond when the staff need her, provide education, and even print multiple documents for staff to look through for education purposes. Any time the staff needs help they call Jenn, and she is there. On top of that, she encourages, teaches, and supports EVERY unit here at Saint Joe's!

As a manager, I am so thankful for Jenn- to know that she is there to support my night shift is so comforting! She truly embodies the service behaviors of Saint Joe's and is truly a DAISY Nurse Leader.
