Jen has been one of our infusion nurses for six years now. She is always so welcoming and compassionate. My daughter has put her through some pretty tough verbal abuse through the years, yet the love that Jen has for her shines through. She knows that my daughter is dealing with a tough situation and lashing out because she feels comfortable enough to express her displeasure about the situation without fear of being treated poorly. Jen is excellent at (performing procedures) and making sure that things are “just right” by asking my daughter what she prefers in terms of routine.

Jen has gone above and beyond in her job and deserves recognition for being such a skilled and loving nurse. It is so evident that Jen loves her job; she truly excels at it. One of our favorite “Jen” stories is when she listened to me and took off the dressing a little fast (it was sticking and my daughter was wailing- she was overtired and done). My daughter was not happy. Years have passed now and it is a running joke between them. The bond that my daughter has formed with Jen is special and such a positive one.
