Jennifer played such an important role during our stay at the hospital. She was our Nurse for the first two days that we were there. We felt as though she was on top of my baby's care as well as mine the entire time.
She advocated for me by getting a lactation consultant involved, staying on top of my pain control, working with the pediatricians to get the best care for my baby, and taking a holistic approach to my care. She comforted me when I needed it most, but equally gave me the space I need to process all that was going on. She helped keep people from coming to visit because she knew I was in a vulnerable state and needed time alone.
Jennifer is someone who took an experience that could have been terrible and did everything in her power to make it a positive experience, and she helped me see the good in the light of all the darkness. She truly made my stay so much better, I'm so grateful that she was my nurse!
