I was an AP patient for over 5 weeks at WMC. I grew close to several of my nurses, but Jennifer went above and beyond on one particular occasion. After an MFM appointment, it was decided that I needed to have a c- section asap. My husband was sick and unable to come into the hospital. All other family and friends were too far away to come in time. I asked the charge nurse if any of my favorite nurses were working that day. None were and none were able to come in for one reason or another. I asked about Jennifer, and she was called to see if she was able to come in. It was her day off, but she very quickly agreed to come in and be with me during my section. She held my hand, kept me informed of what was going on, took pictures, and made sure that I was cared for in a special way. I will never forget her kindness. She'll forever hold a special place in the story of my twins' birth.
