I am writing to nominate Jennie Graber for recognition for going above and beyond her call of duty as a nurse. As a patient under her care, I can attest to the extraordinary commitment she has for her patients, and her willingness to go the extra mile to ensure patient comfort, satisfaction, and recovery.

From the very moment that I was under Jennie’s care, she demonstrated a level of compassion and professionalism that was truly remarkable. She took the time to get to know me as a person, learn about my concerns and my health history, and provided reassurance that I was in good hands. Throughout my three days spent with Jennie, she continued to demonstrate exceptional dedication to her work and to her patients. She made sure to follow up promptly on any concerns I had, even anticipating needs I didn't know I had!

During a particularly difficult day of pain, and a difficult day in general, Jennie stayed with me for an extended period of time, offering comfort care, answering my questions and ensuring that my pain management plan was working effectively, and assuring me that everything will be ok. She was patient and attentive to all my concerns, taking the time to make sure I was as comfortable as possible.

In addition, Jennie was more than just a nurse to me. She was a trusted confidant, offering moral support and listening intently to my concerns, and a friend. Her positive attitude and compassionate demeanor made me feel safe, both physically and emotionally. And points when I needed it the most, she made me laugh and assured me everything would work out and she would work on getting the things I needed to get done with providers, and their teams would get done.

Overall, Jennie's tireless efforts in going above and beyond her call of duty as a nurse are admirable. She is an asset to the medical profession, and her dedication to patient care and satisfaction is an inspiration.
