Jennifer is an amazing nurse! She is someone you can count on. I was working with Jennifer in NTICU and there was a young patient not doing well and on multiple machines. Even though the patient was unresponsive, relying on machines, Jennifer treated her with compassion. She explained everything she was doing to the patient. During this time, the patient's father arrived and had several questions. Jennifer responded with kindness, compassion and patience as she walked him through his daughter's current situation. You could almost see a level of relief come across him and the "thank you" kept coming. Jennifer did not give him good news, as there was little good news to share. It was the way she talked with him that made the difference.
