This weekend, I had a truly life-changing experience with an exceptional Nurse, Jen. Her extensive knowledge and understanding of medications and my well-being went above and beyond. Not only did she ensure my comfort by exploring different options, such as Benadryl, to help me sleep when it was too soon for pain meds. But furthermore, her compassion during my challenging journey through drug and alcohol withdrawal was truly inspiring. Instead of judging me, she patiently listened to my concern, expressing gratitude for my honesty, and provided her professional recommendation for me to take time to reflect. Additionally, she introduced me to another compassionate woman I had met and trusted. Together, we discussed my situation and ultimately decided that I would continue on the true path of hope and sobriety. It is without a doubt that she played a significant role in potentially saving my life. Had it not been for her timely intervention, I may have gone directly to the liquor store while still severely injured. Thank you
