I have been here for 12 years and there are few nurses who truly go WAY above and beyond when it comes to being there for their patients and family members during a devastating time of little to no hope. In this instance, this particular nurse was one of them. She put her all into being there emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually for them. She brought in tiny bottles that she bought after her first shift with them and printed out EKG strips to place in each one and put a nice little craft bow on each one so they could keep the patients' memory of life with them, then went home after another mentally/emotionally exhausting shift and proceeded to also buy paint, brushes, and canvases to paint something dedicated to them in remembrance of the patient. She offered her whole self to them fully and I definitely noticed so much so that I messaged her after work to tell her how I was moved and how great of a nurse she is. She deserves to be recognized for this and I 110% vouch for her as one of the most caring nurses I've ever met.
