It is with deep gratitude and heartfelt appreciation that we nominate Jenny for recognition of her exceptional nursing care. From the moment our mother entered your facility, we were met with extraordinary compassion and professionalism that made an incredibly difficult time a little more bearable. Our mother had been in remission from breast cancer since 2010. Unfortunately, after several tests, we received the devastating news that her cancer had returned, Stage IV metastatic breast cancer to the bone. As her oldest daughter and a nurse myself, the weight of this diagnosis was incredibly heavy on my shoulders. However, Jenny stood beside us from day one. Her unwavering support, clear communication, and genuine care made all the difference. Jenny was always available, never once making me feel like my questions or calls were a burden. She was prompt in updating Dr. C and quick to respond to any concerns or changes. I never once had to wait or worry about being heard. Jenny was committed, whether over the phone or in person. She always took the time to explain, reassure, and if an answer wasn’t immediately available, she would find it and follow up without delay. It is staff like Jenny who embody what it means to care for the whole person, not just the patient, but the family, too. She has made our mother feel seen, heard, and truly valued throughout this battle. As we now face the possibility of transitioning to hospice care, her support and presence continue to provide comfort and strength. There are no words sufficient to express how much she has meant to our family. Her excellence deserves to be recognized and celebrated.
