Jennifer L Gonzales, MSN, RNC-NIC, C-NPT

Jenny is a Level III Critical Care nurse at MHTW NICU with extensive experience as a neonatal transport nurse. She has a special talent for placing PICCS in our tiniest babies. Many of our babies need long-term IV access and she is always willing and able to help, regardless of her own nursing assignment that day. She not only expertly places these lines in babies as small as 500-600g, but she is also teaching other bedside nurses how to place PICCs in a one-on-one mentoring program. She has even come back after leaving for the day to check on and troubleshoot a PICC. Our NICU team, babies, and their parents greatly benefit from her skills and acumen in taking care of the smallest, sickest babies.
