Jennifer L Jagoda, RN
I am honored to recognize Jennifer Jagado because she is a nurse leader whose compassion, dedication, and commitment to patient care truly stand out. Jennifer currently oversees General Surgery and the Procedure Clinic, in addition to supporting the ATC as Interim Manager and serving as the RN Lead for Flu and COVID Vaccines. Managing these departments is a tremendous responsibility in itself, yet Jennifer never shies away from taking on more to support our patients, staff, and physicians.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of witnessing Jennifer’s growth as a leader, and I continue to be impressed by her unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. She consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate the needs of our patients and members, always demonstrating empathy and compassion. Her department is known for making every effort to accommodate patients, even when they arrive late for appointments. Jennifer is often the first person to stop in the hallway to ask if a patient needs help, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and cared for.
I had the opportunity to work directly with Jennifer during the Flu Clinic, where her dedication was truly commendable. She played an essential role in service recovery, never hesitating to roll up her sleeves to vaccinate patients herself when needed. She also provided ongoing support to LVNs by answering clinical questions and ensuring patients received safe and efficient care. Her hands-on approach and willingness to support her team exemplify the spirit of nursing excellence.
In the ATC, Jennifer continues to build a strong team by supporting RNs with her clinical expertise, addressing complex clinical questions, and ensuring patients are accommodated in a timely manner. Her leadership fosters confidence among staff and trust among patients, creating an environment where quality care thrives.
Jennifer embodies the values of compassion, teamwork, and excellence in everything she does. Her dedication to both her patients and her team makes a meaningful difference every day. For these reasons, I cannot think of anyone more deserving of recognition than Jennifer Jagoda for the DAISY Award.

When a clinic hits a tough moment—an unexpected situation, a clinical question, or a team that needs an extra set of hands—there’s one manager to call: Jennifer. She doesn’t hesitate, and she doesn’t say no. In addition to overseeing General Surgery and the Medical Office Treatment Rooms, Jennifer supports the Ambulatory Treatment Center and still makes time to serve as a seasonal vaccine lead.
During vaccine season, questions and special situations come fast. Jennifer meets them with sharp assessment skills and steady decision-making. She steps in every time—answering clinical questions, troubleshooting on the spot, and even making rounds to drop off vaccines when staff is stretched. And she does it all with a warm smile and a simple, consistent question: “What else can I do to help?”
Jennifer’s positive energy lifts the whole team, but it’s her priorities that define her: she puts patients first and makes sure staff have what they need to deliver safe, compassionate care.
