The last month has been such a roller coaster for us with surgery, urgent care visits, and hospital stays. My husband came in for some tests and treatment. The next day we were back in again for another treatment. After the treatment, we were kind of at a loss as to what to do. Do we stay or do we go home…we were waiting for a call from the doctor or from someone with our next steps. That is when Jen (Jennifer Stettler, RN) stepped in. She said “Sit down in the lobby, I am going to contact them. I do not want you to go home and have to come back again.” It was such a relief to have a nurse who had our back and advocated for us. So, thank you nurse Jen for your help, compassion, and for going above and beyond. Everyone has been nice and great with us, but this has been a rollercoaster, we are tired, we are frustrated, and we just want him better and home with us. You have no idea how thankful we were when Jen did that for us.
