Jen was caring for a patient who was missing her granddaughter's wedding due to her hospitalization. Jen took the time and initiative to discuss with the family a way for the patient to still be involved. Jen arranged for a family member at the wedding to use their i-Phone to stream the wedding live into the patient's room on an i-Pad. The bride and groom, as well as multiple other family members, were able to talk to the patient during the ceremony. Most importantly, the patient was able to see her granddaughter (the bride) and communicate with her.

The next day, the granddaughter came in her wedding gown to visit the patient. None of this would have been possible had Jen not taken the time to work with the family in order to keep the patient involved in something that was very important to her.
