Coming to the end of her long shift, and worried about me walking next door to the hotel in the dark, she put me in a wheelchair and wheeled me right into the hotel lobby, into an elevator, and right up to the front desk to check-in.
The care provided by everyone involved in my emergency care and treatment was, simply stated, Outstanding! Given the immediacy and angst of that whirlwind of an afternoon and evening, the staff were extremely professional and had just the right amount of humor to help me relax. I have to mention one female nurse in post-op. Jenn Lilly could not have been more professional and delightful. Coming to the end of her long shift, and worried about me walking next door to the hotel in the dark, she put me in a wheelchair and wheeled me right into the hotel lobby, into an elevator (she was concerned about me going up the escalator) and right up to the front desk to check-in. I thanked her very much and she walked out the revolving doors of the hotel to catch the Red Line to Savin Hill and her five year old son. Priceless!! I would like to nominate this nurse for the DAISY Award for service above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you.

I just wanted to shine a light on Jenn Lilly’s willingness to always go above and beyond. She agreed to stay later than her shift to close the unit last night, and due to circumstances involving a patient having post-op complications, she was then willing to stay even later.

Jenn Lilly is a leader who treats everyone in her path with kindness and respect. She does this with a positive attitude which uplifts and inspires everyone around her.

She is an extremely resourceful nurse, a problem solver, and can easily take on any role necessary for the well-being and staff in this hospital.

I believe I could have sent emails multiple times of praise for Jenn Lilly, as she has always demonstrated “above and beyond” nursing care. She deserves recognition, as she is a valuable coworker and an exceptional nurse.
