Jennifer Lyons, RN

Jenny has been my husband's night nurse, and she has made an incredible difference in our lives. She is an exceptional communicator who truly listens to our concerns and then works diligently to find answers. She always greets us with a cheerful attitude, and I look forward to seeing her every time she is assigned to care for my husband.

The first night Jenny was our nurse, that my husband has a severe traumatic brain injury. I shared how his injury affects his communication and the way he expresses pain and other needs. Instead of simply listening and moving on, Jenny asked thoughtful questions to clarify her understanding. She made us feel heard and valued. She took the time to truly understand him as a person rather than just a patient.

Jenny was also a tremendous source of comfort for me. I was anxious about leaving my husband at the hospital, but she reassured me that I could call to check on him as often as I wanted and even gave me the nurses' station phone number. Her kindness and understanding eased my fears and gave me peace of mind.

I truly wish Jenny could care for my husband every night. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication have made an unforgettable impact on our family.
