On a night when I was charging and we had a high acuity and high volume of triages, Jennifer went above and beyond to help. We had a patient arrive via EMS. She was visibly uncomfortable. Jennifer walked over from the ER with the patient and paramedics, helped move her and then, without being asked, offered to start an IV and draw labs. I was very grateful for her help on a night when I was stretched thin. Her smile, enthusiasm, and kindness to see a situation where help could be used, and offer to help, exemplify the spirit that we want in this hospital.
