Jennifer McCarroll was so kind and educational the entire day I was in Labor. She helped my labor get going. Jennifer explained each position with labor balls and how it would potentially help me dilate. She asked me before just doing it. Jennifer made sure that my and baby's father were comfortable. I was on methadone during my entire pregnancy, so the baby could have had withdrawal symptoms. She thoroughly explained what withdrawal would look like and how it would be treated. Never once did I feel as if she was passing judgment. I greatly appreciated Jennifer's knowledge, experience, and compassion. Jennifer was by far the best nurse I have ever had. She made my experience way better. She even prepared everything for the next shift to ensure my labor went smoothly. Jennifer remained professionally compassionate even when I was being difficult and unpleasant.
