Our mother was a patient in the ICU because her blood pressure dropped and she became very ill. My mom was diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer less than a week prior to breaking her hip. My mom was not the sickest patient in the ICU, we are sure, but Jenn made my mom feel like she was the priority. My mom was not very responsive and Jenn still included her in her own care and encouraged her in every little milestone she made. She spoke to my mom with kind words and was very patient and supportive of us. Jenn was not only a skilled clinician but she was also compassionate in my mom's care. Coming into the ICU, we were so upset. When Jenn was on shift, we felt comfortable leaving my mom in her care. She listened to my mom's requests even when they were hard to understand. My mom and our entire family were so blessed to have her.
