Jenn is an outstanding nurse leader who not only directly impacts the nursing professional development team, but also the entire nursing department. Jenn leads our NPD team, as well as leads the initial onboarding and annual competency of all nursing department members. She also manages many educational projects & works with nurse leaders & interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive outcomes. She is thoughtful in all that she does - always considering what would be the most effective and convenient education methods for staff. She works tirelessly to accomplish these goals, ensuring that the work will get done. Jenn is in a leadership role but continues to participate in all of the tasks that the NPD team is expected to do - you will catch her rounding with staff on the patient care areas, assisting staff in completing their BLS & ACLS in Heart Code & staffing tables at skills. Jenn's easily adaptable & will pivot when needed, if it means meeting a nursing department need. She is an excellent example for the NPD team & all of nursing. She is passionate, hardworking & best of all, very kind. We are so lucky to have her.

Jenn is a strong nurse leader who will stop amidst a busy working day to listen to her teammate. If you come to Jenn with a problem or concern, it is now something for BOTH of you to solve & she makes sure to see it through with you. Any project I may be working on, Jenn always consistently offers her support & expertise; I never feel alone. Jenn will always do what is right, will always go the extra mile for nursing staff and her colleagues. She is a shoulder to lean on, a confidant, a cheerleader, and a strong support.

Jenn is enthusiastic when it comes to Fox Chase Nursing! She started as a float CNA who moved into a nurse residency role, completed her MSN practicum at Fox Chase assisting with an important education project implementation & now is the manager of Nursing Professional Development. In every role, she has made wonderful and close connections. You can often see Jenn waving hello to at least a dozen employees in varying roles & disciplines as she walks through the center. When Jenn is championing annual skills or mandatory education, staff respect her expertise & often reach out to her for guidance in their own professional development.

Jenn is an excellent clinical nurse and nursing professional development specialist. In addition to her full-time role, she works with students at Drexel University & leads a clinical group on our surgical oncology unit. She can easily jump into patient care & excel at this role. She is known for her eagerness to help and for her nursing expertise. She represents the organization at national conferences, sharing her professional work and highlighting our nursing team.
