Our daughter had a procedure involving kidney stones earlier that day and developed complications. We arrived at the PICU with the Rapid Response Team administering CPR. Jen was "on point" from the start! Once G was stabilized, Jen was terrific about communicating "the plan of care" to us and carrying it out with an extremely caring attitude. She was constantly working to care for G and keep her comfortable. Jen demonstrated a great attitude while teaming with other staff members to deliver the highest level of care with a level of caring and concern that goes above and beyond the job. She effectively communicated all valuable and pertinent information to the relieving day nurse. Jen also interacted so beautifully with our non-verbal daughter, it was comforting to see. In communicating with my husband and me, she was a calm in the storm and was positive in her attitude and demeanor. She was so wonderful to G and to us and worked so consistently hard to give the best possible care to our baby girl. Thank you, Jen, you are fantastic.
