My brother is receiving IVIG infusions for an autoimmune diagnosis. He was previously receiving infusions from another pharmacy prior to CSI. He changed pharmacies for different reasons, and that was the best change ever! My brother’s nurse, on her first visit, we as a family noticed a different experience! She showed kindness, understanding, compassion, and willingness to listen to my brother's concerns. He was very apprehensive.

Jennifer’s knowledge and experience regarding IVIG infusions were valued. One main reason for my brother's apprehensiveness was starting the IV for his infusion, it was very difficult to find a vein. Jennifer is very good at starting IVs but was aware that his veins were not the best. She spoke with my brother calmly and gently about considering a port placement. He agreed because of her explanation and nursing knowledge, as well as her compassion and experience, and she knew what would be best. 

Jennifer puts time and energy into her positive, enthusiastic attitude and finds solutions to problems! She helped my brother feel valued, which had a positive effect on him. Because of her uplifting mood, laughter, smiles, and positive, enthusiastic attitude, this is just what my brother needed. She also manages her schedule well and is flexible with changing times when needed. She goes above and beyond! God bless her—more nurses should take note!
